Membership & Fees (2011/12)
- Swimming Membership $135
- 2nd Child Membership $125
- 3rd Child Membership $115
- Recreational Swimmer $70 (has restrictions in regard to interclub competitions.)
A large proportion of the fees go toward affiliation & membership of Swimming Victoria, which includes insurances, and other benefits, as well as affiliation fees with our district body, Metro West Swimming.
All swimmers must be a member of a club to participate in most inter club swimming competitions, approved timed swim meets and Swimming Victoria events such as District & State Championships.
The club swimming season commences in April with membership fees due upon joining the club. Fees include a free Altona club swimming bag for first time members.
To join, simply come along to a club night to complete a membership form with your club fees.
New Members
Each year, the club holds a new members orientation evening, at which the operation of the club is explained, committee members introduced, and questions answered.
We look forward to seeing new members at the evening, which commences at 7pm, on Wednesday 25th May 2011.
Children are welcome to attend, and have some fun pool time which is Supervised by the club Captains, and more senior club members whilst the orientation takes place in the club rooms.
