State Championships - Results

The Victorian State Championships have been swum between 20th December and January 17th with some great results from Altona Swimmers.
11 & 12 yrs Ages –
The 12 & u Altona A 4 x 50m relay team of Victoria Kovach, Emily Prentice, Bridget O’Halloran & Amaya Nicolson-Biggs turned in a fantastic result, after being seeded 8th, qualified in 5th with a time of 2:08.46, coming 6th in the final with a great time of 2:06.53. PB’s were swum by all team members.
The Altona B team turned in a very respectable result of 24th in the 46 team field.
The Altona A & B teams both posted great results in the Medley relays also. Well done to all the relay team members, who in addition to the above mentioned were Keisha Quarrier, Renee Farrugia, Jenny Falla, Elyse Woods, Ashleigh Gould,
There were more top ten finals results with Emily in the 12 yr 200 Back, Bridget in the 11yr 200 Free & Back, and Liam Humphreys 4th in the 12 yr 200 Fly.
Swimming Victoria 12 yr & under State Championship Top 10 badges will be presented to the top ten result swimmers at club on next Wednesday night.
13 yrs and over Ages -
Jake Scott and Bradley Moore represented the club in the 13 yrs & over with good results, and some solid PB’s across seven events.
